Can someone provide the make and model information for the 4 cylinder diesel engine that was used in Hydrovane fast tow machines? The machine appears to be similar to Martyn's machine featured in another thread. I'm considering using one of these engines to replace a 3 cylinder Kubota engine dependi...

I believe it is under the bonnet, fixed to the bulkhead above the battery compartment.

Not sure if this is the best place or whether the compact section might be better.....

Has anyone got a copy of a copy of the Kubota D1402 engine manual, I've had a look through the download section and can't seem to see it there.

Not had a chance to get in touch with JL, work has been a nightmare - though, in the mean time a dumper opportunity might have come up - I'll keep you posted.

Cheers Julian, For the time being - at least over the next 12 months, a swing start would be fine, despite living in Wales bump starting is not really an option. An electric start upgrade would make things much easier especially for the GF at some time in the future. I live in mid Wales near Carmart...
