Re: Fuel tank cleaning
I tried google, to see if anyone mentions any removable plate (as standard) on your model's fuel tank and noted a thread at this forum. Of interest, it indeed seems that the mk3 has a screened mesh outlet. If it has been sitting, the sediment could well have settled and surrounded the mesh - and it ...

Re: Fuel tank cleaning
Welcome to the forum. :) I'm not familiar with JCB - but an in-chassis tank is likely to have an inspection plate somewhere to give access to visually inspect the inside of the tank or install the fuel level gauge. What is happening to suggest that sort of fuel problem? If you are having fuel proble...

If the bush has reached a point you don't want to drift it anymore due to possibility of deforming it, as Norman has pointed out, heating is a wonderful tool. Even now, as the bush is stuck not far from beieg home, you can quickly heat the metal housing and hit the bush in before the bush heats up a...

I've edited and listed an external source for a 50b manual in my earlier post - as a zip. Once it's available locally in pdf format, there's no need for the external link to be up.
I did look specifically for a 3303 manual, but found nothing to be had that I could see.

Re: more problems...more part numbers
Oh, it's looks like the other end is smaller so you can't drift it straight through - so ignore what I wrote above. If the bush runs up to an internal ridge, it's possible the design of the housing leaves the bush inside raised slightly from the housing, or notches in the housing - which allow for a...

" water boils under 13 psi pressure at 206f or 96.6c " Hi Steve - an interesting point, I hadn't considered the effect of elevation effecting the overall temperature the system might bypass at if components are in good order, but the temperature is what is important. http://www.engineerin...

Re: more problems...more part numbers
That's great to hear it came out without having to resort to more extreme measures. Split nuts, like rod ends can be a bit painful to get started. Loose shouldn't matter, it often makes it easier to turn by hand and feel it is is cross threaded. Something like a rod end, turning it gently by hand sh...

Re: more problems...more part numbers
Well looking at your photo of the collar - the apparent absence of paint - is that from heating it, or from cleaning it, or was that just how it always was? It doesn't turn either way with a spammer on it, so it suggests a number of things; some bright spark stuck the bolt in lubed with loctite, a s...

" I'll baby it thru the disking, harrowing and planting the 5 acres of pasture I plowed up earlier this year." I would urge you to keep an eye out for a blown head gasket issue though - but this is a simple test to do every few days. If the engine isn't hot, take the cap off the...

I tripped over this file. Scanned with avg - clean as of last months virus definitions Not the greatest looking but enough to pass muster I think. ;) I haven't confirmed how complete this file is. It is in English. 520 pages there abouts. Up to part 13a ... Ugh ... the preview doesn't show an attach...
