It might just be that the Bowden cable from the dash lever to the shuttle spool is worn, they can go stiff with age. :D Also I think their should be some kind of detent to find neutral but I remember ours was worn. Check the convertor/shuttle fluid by running on fast idle for a few minutes from firs...

Do not use the dump pedal as a clutch for normal shuttling or moving off. Select the gear needed for moving, generally 1st or 2nd although it will move off in 3rd if on the level and hard. Apply footbrake let go hand brake push shuttle lever for direction. You should feel the transmission engage and...

Can you confirm what you mean. Is the forward reverse shuttle not selecting or are you having a problem with selection of the manual gears?

It has a remarkably good cab. As smith said it must have had some stick at some time and the ad reads with the steering shot. Could almost do with a second one with good arms and correct dipper.

Is it a 2 stage clutch on the foot pedal for the PTO? Could be adjustment, locked out or wear.

Personally if you want out put it on ebay with a sensible reserve (or classified) with an accurate description and photos and see what happens.

If you want a spare, to get you out of trouble occasionally, a 6 stud commercial wheel will also fit with the dish turned out.
