Re: Tonkin CAT 995G issues.
Hi folks, I've just received my CAT 775G, so I wish to share my impressions. The front wheels - Achilles heel of every dump truck is ok, not wobbly but not too stiff. Tires are not too shine as in my CAT 797F /yellow/ model. The white edition is with more mat. Body is OK, paint is crisp and shiny, s...

Re: My collection part I
Thank you, Jeremy. Indeed Rope shovels are the pearl in my collection. I have a problem with Bucyrus 495HF model /entangled rope hoist/ but fixed it relatively easy. I opened the roof /there are 9 plastic caps which covers the screws. Then bought a longer rope /same blue colour/. The original rope i...

Reliability of 240 tonners
Hi folks, I'm looking for information about reliability of large haul trucks especially 218/240 tonners. Which of the following trucks - CAT 793 /all modifications/, Komatsu 830E AC, Liebherr T262 or its successor T264 or Terex/CAT MT 4400 AC. I'll be grateful to share information about the speed do...

Re: Belaz haul truck payload 450 metric tonnes
OK, I agree but Belaz 75710 with this shallow body was sent to Kusbass Chernigovez coal mine. Coal is light material and you 0.8-1.1 t /cub. m. instead of 1.8-2. or more rock, limestone and gravel, so the truck needs deeper bod to hold more light material.

Struck capacity of the body is equal to the capacity of 363/400 ton class truck or even less.....very strange

Re: BELAZ Super !!!
It is very intersting what will be the real fuel consumption because the empty truck is heavier than the standard haulers.
The body looks very shallow to me. I doubt the truck can hold 450 metric tons. For every mining truck is normal to carry the designed load + 10% extra - i.e. 496 metric tons.....
