Fil.
According to thread data charts, 11/16" BSF is 14 TPI. Your wheel studs could be slightly below 11/16 due to wear and tear etc. Have you measured the DIA of the good studs?

I've done quite a few of those worn forks and clevis pins. Fill the fork holes with weld and re drill them, and renew clevis pins. (If the facilties are handy)

Could be something other than a clay pit. The 06 shunter ( think its British Rail)And I don't think the hopper wagon(s) would have been used for clay. That is a large spoil heap and a viaduct running through the site, strange one that. Gravel might go with the Hopper wagons?

Re: 3CX JCB 1997 Maint. questions

geckoNZ. There is a fab shop close by, they laser cut and bent the the window frames for me, done an excellent job. So how would I go about getting the info to make one If needed? I must have been lucky with my boom ram as the cap nut was barely hand tight, getting the pin out of the king post was a...

Re: JCB 3cx

Hi all.
I had these bottom side window frames fashioned from a local fab shop they're an excellent copy considering what I gave him as a template. Pics include old and new. They're made in two pieces either side and will be plug welded together. ( same as original I think).
