Re: jcb 3C II head gasket replacement
Great news. I did finally get it back together and running sweet. One bypass hose leaks badly and I have burst a hose on the backhoe but definitely heading in the right direction.

Re: jcb 3C II head gasket replacement
Hi Tillywolves. Thanks for your reply. As you see I don't get on here often. I agree with your assessment. Got the head off. Liners look okay, replaced head gasket, and don't have oil cooler so if I can just get the b to turn over now we might get somewhere!! Why does one step forward always seem to...

Re: Komatsu D10S
Hi Diggerpete. The tracks on the D10 are all caste in one piece. That is to say the chain, plate, grouser and bush are all one casting then pinned to the next shoe. If your still out there please forgive the late reply but I have not logged on for some time. I have finally managed to fit a bobcat st...

Re: jcb 3C II head gasket replacement
Hi Guys. I have a similar problem with my 3CII. It runs fine but coolant keeps disappearing and it seems to be gaining oil!! I would be keen to get your opinions on how and where this transfer might be taking place. Regards from down under. Simon

By learning from this poor chaps mistake maybe we can live a bit longer. The post was of value if not entertaining. Simon

Re: Jcb 3D mk2
Hi Mark. Following your progress with interest. I have to confess I think I would have given up before now. Looking at your recent photos I was wondering if the Max trac axle can be retro fitted to the Mark II. Keep up the great work. Simon

Re: Unloved and possibly forgotten about JCB's
Hi. Fantastic to see pictures of old JCBs. Amazed to see an original JCB Mk 1 still around and not being looked after. Here is I think a JCB 3 at an engineers near by. I was astonished to see this as I did not think JCBs came here this early.

Re: Komatsu D10S
The D10 is not particularly uncomfortable but I have never spent all day on it. I must find some way to fit a belt as you do tend to get thrown out on rough ground. Thanks for the spec sheet. The Ramex is very interesting. A bobcat on steel. If I was going to get another track loader though I think ...
