Re: Classic pictures Updated 25/05/2024
Nice tipper evolution line up. Never knew a J4 could carry that much on the roof rack? Seriously though, I would have thought the service truck should have been an Ebro or similar so I wonder if JCB would have supplied it ready built as dealer equipment? Is the next one down a Muir Hill? The tipper...

Re: JCB 3C Mk3 Powertrain - Shuttle problem & Oils Needed?
There are folk on here that have stripped and repaired these Borg Warner shuttles, perhaps they will give some advice. I have assisted a good mechanic in removing these transmissions, it is not too hard. Basically jack up the rear of the machine and wedge in some heavy timber between the lower backh...

Just to be sure, have you got the non electric shuttle lever? Did you check the oil level while idling or immediately on stop? The symptoms do sound like a problem with the forward pack as you have reverse.

'the 3rd man wacked and swept up. Only had 2 men at work signs.' reminds me of a Benny Hill sketch - They wanted tree fellers, and there's only the two of us.

I reckon that Cargo could get unstable a bit quick. You must have read my mind  doesn't look like one of the better ideas for tipping! Jeremy A few years ago, in France, I watched a gang of 3 laying some ducting down the side of a village road. One man on the floor, a 13 ton excavator with a f...

Coke was a by-product of coal after gas extraction, very light non dense material. The loader really looks like an adaptation of the 2H. Model.
