Re: Villiers cement mixer

Nearly a year later and yes Pete, It's a Parker. Spun it over, there is a spark and it did fire a few times but the flywheel bolt has now sheared off so unless anyone is interested it's off to the scrap bin. Located near Aldershot, Hampshire. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/143...

My first thoughts too Pete you read my mind I wonder if it has an outrigger that is not in view in the photo?

Found this and it has mid mounted stabilisers. Not the best place to stand though!

What an amazing black and white of the Phillips (is that the right name). That must have been a headache for someone! Just about every early 60s truck make in the photo and some plant as well. I wonder if the management kept the local sales reps on their toes?

What a tidy looking machine for over 60 years. Lovely piece of marque history Fred.

Re: Weatherill

Hi John
I thought it looked different but I also wondered if it had a larger 6 cyl engine fitted as it looks lon but a job to see with photo quality.
Hope Oz was good

Re: Perkins phaser 1004 in 3cx running bad

Well can you tip some soapy water around the injector seats when cranking or idling to see if there is combustion gas escaping?
