Anyone interested in this model kit may want to get their hands on one rather sharpish, as MENG do not have a Caterpillar licence and were told to remove the model and all reference to it from their booth during toyfair. Until the licence is sorted, they are unable to continue selling the model kit.

I have a number of model samples to display including the Volvo concept machines, The NZG Hamm rollers and Havator LTM11200, P&H 4100XPC, Komatsu PC8000 and the latest Conrad models to name a few.

Joal have now produced the model. When i spoke with JCB at the toy fair, they said they had ordered the models and they should be available soon from their website shop. I guess model dealers will get them once the importers receive their shipment.

The Bucyrus 22BE / 22RB with dragline and clamshell from EMD is scheduled to be in production soon with an expected release date early summer 2011. The entire Bucyrus project is now back on track with the next model in the series now in development.
