Re: Track Marshall 50
Images from a book I sold. Maybe PHIL HUNT PARTS in Tamworth might have manuals or info. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/826_1W1BGQP0U3H41705454363.jpg http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/826_30IHB6FDX4MCS1705454401.jpg http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/imag...

Re: Muir Hill loaders
As a kid,I had a Matchbox diecast model of a Muir Hill with a detachable (slide-on) blade. There were Muir-Hill tractors working in Australia in the early 80s ,at a match tree plantation. These pictures are from a Grays Online Auction 2014 ($7500). http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpi...

Re: Mystery Machines
This looks like a Cat dozer around the Operator area, but with old 977 style Crowd arms. Maybe a local manufacturer made the whole Blade/Loader assembly.I'd like to see the oil tank on the other side. During the 70s/80s,Komatsu offered a similar blade set-up for it's Crawler Loaders.Their Product Cat...

Re: Mf 300 low on power
Desmond, Try lifting it up at the front & putting logs or wooden blocks under the tracks. The closer to level you are,the better chance of driving out. The 300 has a Torque Convertor /powershift drive system. You might have a steering adjustment or wear issue. The Operator manual will show adjustm...

Re: Mf 300 or 400
I think the 300s went into the early 80s,maybe up to a C model. They were sold here in Australia,& in Canada & maybe the USA.Maybe the 24Volt system was used in some export machines....

Re: Mf 300 or 400
MF300. I've never seen one with a cabin. Parts are not easy to come by in many places...not sure about the UK. Berco makes chains & rollers, starting with an LA part number (Landini). I think they are around 9 tons. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/826_1AHSEH3M19KZB1580871555....

Y Tube videos from Oz
I've been watching a lot of Y Tube videos lately. Thought I'd pass these 4 videos on,from Australia in the 50s-60s. It's nice to see the trucks, cars & big gear in good (not 70 years old) condition . An interesting mix of US,UK & Local vehicles. You're going to have to copy/paste into YT sear...

Anyone own a MF 3165 Tractor/Loader
HI All, I own a Massey 3165 loader with a AD203 Perkins. My old starter is stuffed, but it has absolutely no numbering on it.So I need to find the Lucas number. My starter is located on RH side, from seated position. The USA versions had a Delco. It's not as easy as you'd think,to find the correct par...
