Re: O&K G350 question
Found a few more pics of this monster.. I think one is Deas hisself! Oddly enough, when you do a Google search for O&K G350, Deas' name pops up about a dozen times.. aaah, celebrity! I have some pics I took many years ago I'll try to find.. odd how one of the 26 wound up in Nebraska. All that's ...

Re: 1/50 wire fence.
Here in America I had some luck in the bridal supply section of my local Hobby Lobby (hobby/craft supply) store.. they sell a fine mesh ribbon (for hats I guess) that scales out around 6-8 feet high in 1/50. This makes a dandy chain link fence, not so much the chicken wire/square mesh you pictured b...

Re: CAT D9G with strange plough/ripper
You also see what's called a tile plow for laying drain tile (ventilated pipe) or communication cable.. some of which can rip up to 7 feet deep and lay cable/tile at the same time. I'm not saying that's what this is, just another possibility. Here's Google search results for tile plows.. some get qu...

Re: I'm finally a member of the CCM owners club
I have recieved the 666, the 660 with the Athey PR660 bottom dump, the D10 pushcat and 834 wheel dozer this year. Looking forward to the D9H with ripper and a pair of the 637E's when they come out. Probably the D9L pushcat too..gotta have something to push them all! I consider them to be the best an...
Re: D9 pusher
Wow.... 6 657'S and a D9...I wonder if that was just a posed shot to look impressive...quite a bit of horspower to focus on one cutting edge at one time. The most I've ever been involved in was 4 627B's at one time..things tend to happen fast hooked up like that..for good or ill!

Re: New arrivals
I just got my McCoy version 666 last week and I'm very pleased with it. Worth the 30 year wait!
Re: Cat 830MB
Merv, the bowls were made under a seperate gov. contract. I've heard Curtiss-Wright, Wabco and one other, maybe MRS. I'm no expert, but this is what I've picked up from various forums over the years. Capacity is around 20 yards heaped, but don't quote me on that! if you use Cat (or Caterpillar) 830,...
