Re: Drott BTD6 Radiator Cap Spec and suggestions on fuel problem

Thanks guys for the reply. Re: rad cap - Very informative Fred Thank you. I'll source a 7lb ( I know I can easily get that one) and see how it goes with respect to over heating. If unsuccessful I'll go a little higher in pressure. The fuel flow does gravity feed to the connection point as noted but ...

I have an International BTD6 Drott B6-K3 requiring a replacement radiator cap. Can anybody help with the pressure rating for that particular model. Secondly the Drott starts and runs for about 15 minutes before starving for fuel. I have checked all lines and there are no leaks, etc. Any suggestions ...

Drott BTD-6 model B6 - K3 Skid Shovel Starter Motor Replacement

The unit is a perfect fit with no modifications required to engine back plate or starter motor. The unit is a motor ove...

Re: BTD6 Drott

Hi Martyn, Thanks for the Starter Motor Number - thought I had an after market push button equivalent but as usual too good to be true - The solenoid clashed with the chassis rail. Back to the hunt for an original. Have been in touch with Jim who has also provided some good leads Thanks again Regard...

Re: BTD6 Drott Starter Motor Issue

With reference to Drott B6 K3 -engine BD264, engine number 65601, I am now experiencing Starter motor problems with a likely rebuild or replacement.

Can anybody advise if there is an after market model replacement or substitute unit to the OME.

Thanks

Gordon

Hi Martyn, Ive just recently got hold of a Drott B6 K3 (BTD 6), serial number BD 1734 in good working order - Engine number BD 264 65601 if that helps, and would like to do a major overhaul with respect to oils. Jim Stoneman (Dozerman) from Victoria, Aus , advised me to contact you in the hope that ...
