The Classic Machinery Network

Hi all, Need to replace my exhaust but the breather is not budging. Clip is removed but years of a badly worn exhaust seem to have caked around the flanges. Apart from the obvious of repeated lubrication over a few days any words of advice to get the bugger off?

Thanks guys haven't drained the oil yet as I want to have my new oil gaskets and whatever else I need on hand before I start. Hopefully we'll things open back up on Saturday ( Bank Holiday at the moment) I'll get oil and if my local dealer has cover plate gaskets I think I'll get them aswell. Will ...

Valid points Gecko. How would I go about testing the compression ? As for the injector spray pattern.. What would have changed that though? It always starts, just chuggs like a steam train trying to get moving before it does.

Those are coolant temperature sensors. One for the temp gauge,one for the temp warning light/buzzer. Can't remember exactly but think the one circled in red is for the gauge.
