There were several makes out there of carry crane based on tractors. One was Hudson Kiwi which has been featured on here in an old thread. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=23484#p23484 A number were also based on International tractors and built by Rubbery Owen under license IIR...

I think it would cost a fortune to take to shows. Many years ago I was asked to find out about a Cat 983 that was out of use at a Quarry in Dorset.The chap I bought my D4 off gave me the phone number of the boss at Glendenning.He told me that that 983 was now up for sale but had some engine issues....

First 'quality' model I bought was of a Cat 245 from Bowmakers at Clay Cross
