Yes. Two have recently been replaced. I suspect the failed mounts led to the metal fatigue. I've had it confirmed the silencer is now obsolete. I've also managed to get it welded.

Thanks. I've emailed Vicary, Dale is going to have a look tomorrow. It has split around the weld on the silencer/exhaust manifold flange pipe. This suggests a metal fatigue failure through vibration. I'm considering brazing it which would also, I think, anneal the silencer metal.

Hi. I have an early JCB 801. I think it's a 1989/1990. I'm looking for a silencer, with gasket if possible. It's a 3 cylinder Perkins engine, serial number KD50316J24038S. Engine type is KD103.10.
