Re: Lewis Badger

Hi Craig,

It's built around a Ford compact tractor, not sure which one exactly but it's 27 hp.
Later ones had a 47hp Isuzu engine I believe, which I imagine gives things quite a boost.

Re: Lewis Badger

Yes 4wd was standard, all in all quite a well equipped and thought out machine really, basically like a scaled down 3CX I would say.

Re: Lewis Badger

Lewis are/were a fairly small UK company who make a lot of attachments for compact tractors, including back hoes and loaders, I think they might have been taken over now by another company. They made 3 versions of the Badg...

Lewis Badger

Hello there, new to this forum and just wondered if there were any Lewis Badger owners around here, or do we need to be in a mini digger forum ?? Anyway I bought one last year for a self build project and it's turned out to be an excellent little machine, seems to punch above it's 3t weight as well,...

Re: Whitlock hydraulic pump

Craig , heres a photo , whoever painted it blue did a very thorough job , they even painted the inside surface of the gauze filter in the hydraulic oil reservoir ( goes at least three inches down the tube ) ,even I know that was not very clever of them . Nick , yes its cavitating , there is no filt...
