Thanks mate. Took a bit of looking, but it looks like there is a bit of white paint at one of the lower corners of the cab. So its an early 80s machine then.
Where can I go to download an operator manual for it??

Im trying to id a machine Ive just acquired - a JCB 3CX. The machine number (298774) doesnt appear in any searches. And I need to find the operator manual for it.
