Re: Liner Roughrider 1250
Totally agree cobbadog, all tires will be replaced with new ones. Ribbed for the back and nice new tractor ones for the front. I put the panels back on to bake in the garage while I'm away this week, starting to come together now! Think the seat I got might be a bit too big, wanted something with su...

Re: Liner Roughrider 1250
Thanks all, progress has been slow recently due to the summer heat in my garage. Panels stripped back to bare metal, rust treated, primed and painted...

Re: Unknown make & model Dumper
Thanks guys, I got the seals for the axle from my local bearing Shop as suggested. They couldn't get the pinion Seal so I did some digging and found that a 2001 Jeep Cherokee shares the same diff. I've ordered this seal from eBay. More pics of the restoration on my thread: Liner Roughrider 1250 Cheers

Re: Liner Roughrider 1250
Update: Got the two new axle seals matched at my local bearing Shop. The pinion Seal was a little more tricky but I've found that a Jeep Cherokee shares the same Dana 44 axle. The measurements seem to be exactly the same as what's left of the old seal. I've ordered one off eBay. Finally finished rem...

Re: Unknown make & model Dumper
Hi John, thanks for the info. Yes the diff is leaking at one side of the half shafts into the hub and also where the main drive shaft attaches. I was hoping to put in some new seals while I had it all stripped down. The 40M gearbox is also a mess, was full of water and mud. I'm waiting for a rebuild...

Re: Liner Roughrider 1250
Hi John, I think my engine is a Lister SR2 although haven't got around to finding any numbers on the engine yet. It seems to run pretty well, starts easy. I think it's anti clockwise rotation too. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/67271_3ITTTA1Z4SKKS1539349253.jpg I'll get some be...

Liner Roughrider 1250
Hi all, I have recently purchased an old Liner Roughrider dumper here in Sydney, Australia. I've stripped it down ready to remove any rust and repaint. I'm trying to find out what type of differential it has so I can obtain some new seals. Does anyone recognise it? Thanks in advance! Andy http://www...

Re: Unknown make & model Dumper
Hi, I've recently bought an old Liner Roughrider. I'm in Sydney, Australia. It's a lot dirtier than yours but I'm in the process of stripping it down, painting and rebuilding. I'm trying to find out what diff it has. It doesn't look like a Land Rover Sailsbury from the pics I've found on the interne...
