Anyone here going to the event, is it a big show and what is normally on display, is it 1940s thru to 1980s, steam vehicles, auto-jumble?

You'd probably be do well to search France or Italy for parts......they weren't big sellers in U.K. and those that were got hit with rust (and exported to Ireland where there was a good demand for them)

yes, usually when you took the wheel off and only after discovered the bu99er was full of water

now with the more advanced radial tyres with big foot-prints and running at low pressures having water in them is detrimental to the performance as it prevents the tyre carcass from flexing properly

Interesting about water filled tyres. I remember someone once telling me about some TS14 scrapers with water filled tyres but was never sure if it was true.
