Re: Cost to move draglines
No worries guys. Actually my calculations are off. In a perfect world a 4100 XPC AC @ 72yrd will load a 930 every minute but it never works out like that. You need to take into account the shovel moves allot, even just advancing into the face takes a little time, AC's move allot faster than DC as th...

Re: Cost to move draglines
:?: That's a lot of dough but if you relate it to the cost per tonne I bet its small! ;) Say 10:1 strip ratio @ $100ton (Have seen up @ $380ton) Say the shovel does 300 Ton a minute that's 30ton of coal a minute. 30x100 = $3000 of coal a minute retail. You could maybe pull $2500 to $2900 of that fo...

Re: Cost to move draglines
P&H 4100 XPC costs $700hr to run so tramming costs would be calculated by time.
No idea on a big drag line.

Re: Unusual Cat 785
Gas powered for sure. Crazy that the head ache board hoists the tanks. Maybe it's a water truck? Or maybe the gas is used to super heat the box? Fuel tank looks funny also.
Just weird!!
I tried to translate the Rusky but I get jibbirish on this 'Not so' Smart phone.
