the next 120e is due in march and is in backhoe configuration and is going to shotton and the 120c backhoe is heading for brenkley, the komatsus are leased only with 3 on site at the minute with a further 3 to come, theres currently some of our rental 777ds on site running along side 777c's and b's....

now theres a name from the past i can remember there machines when i was knee high, i can remember watching there 3c digging foundations in tranent, think theres a caravan park now in there old yard.

Remember it well it had a fairly large fleet of motorscrapers from various plant hire firms, merrimans being one such company, being born and raised in tranent i remember the scrapers going down the high street lifting all the kerb stones at the top of church street, in those days they were all road...

port of tyne is easy to get in to, turn up at security and ask for the coal yard. there wont be any problem as long as you dont cross the restricted area on the dock side.

remember lindsay plant well when i was in scotland, plant hire around 1997/1998 was cut throat, lindsay came to edinburgh claiming to hire a 30 ton excavator get a dozer free, the reps were poaching operators from all companys, then along came APC. well that just wrecked the scottish plant hire game...

sounds like you may have a steer ram bypassing, the 4cx is electrical change using proximity switches, where as the 2cx is constant 4 wheel steer, i remember jcb recommended that you align the steering every 8 hours to purge air from the system, depends how quick your wheels are drifting..
