Re: Stabilizer leg pin.
Hi Sam From my experience with an older machine that worked in salty materials, The pin could be seized either side where it goes through the pin bosses on the jack leg, or in the ram eye bushing inside the leg, or even both. I'd try heating the outer bushings cherry red with a big oxy acetylene tor...

Re: UMO Plant of Letchworth 1970s/80s
Hi Partsman79 I'm in Canada now but before that we were Belarus dealers in Wales, so dealt with umo from 92 ish up until 2000 when we came here, If my memory serves me correct the tractor business left there in 98/ or 99 just before we came here, it moved to a farm somewhere else before it finished ...

Re: Hydraulic leak in JCB 3C mk II
Hi there, looking to know if any of you know how to refit the slew pots on mark3 after fitting New seals,??? Hi When I did mine on my 3D3 about 6 weeks ago, I used 2 long pieces of 3/4 course threaded rod and nuts( same thread as on the original bolts) and used it to pull the housings back over the...

Re: Looking For A New Steering Wheel JCB 3MkII
Hi There probably isn't a new steering wheel for that machine, unless JCB have one at huge costs, like everybody needing "original new parts" finds out if it's in stock with them. With you being in Ireland there are several breakers yards advertise on the online classified site DoneDeal, I...

Re: 1987 JCB 3CX 1550B Please help ID items in cab photos
Hi The lever by the seat is the park brake, the HYd one in the end of the toolbox should work the transport /safety lock for the rear boom. it may be that the lock is missing or messed up, and it won't work anyway, with lots of the 3cx's I 've seen over the years one of those problems was common. If...

Re: Raise Bucket without running motor
Hi Like others have said, you can raise the loader and backhoe by various means, I have done it by spinning the engine with the starter with short bursts, so you don't over heat and destroy the starter. while spinning it pull the control spool to say raise the loader, but you need oil in the systems...

Re: 3cx grey cab jack leg removal
Hi Tony I did one leg ram on my 3D3/5 . The machine had salt and gravel packed down the leg so It wouldn't raise all the way, when I got it. It had been there so long it corroded the 2" rod down to 1.5" in some spots. The bottom pin was seized so tight, i had to cut one side out of the leg...

Re: jcb 3cx hydraulics
Hi Mike If a hose screws on to the fitting and it's long enough it will fit anywhere so yes it's possible. The spool fittings are set up in pairs the fittings for each separate spool function will be one behind the other. not one one say to the left and one to the right of it. so say it's the lift s...

Re: does anyone know what this is
I'm more JCB equipment minded here , but the first thoughts were Wain-Roy backhoe and loader attachments. Google comes to the same conclusion with a Wain-Roy picture search. The tractors probably an IH 2275, the industrial version of the B275 or another model of similar style tractor . I don't know ...

Re: JCB 3C MK2 SKID UNIT IDENTIFICATION
The Leyland 384 and 270 followed in production so the 38 series motor was in them or the 4/98 could be in the very last few 384s on the production change when they stopped using the old motor. It happens like that quite often with tractors and things, where the newer model is not a complete new desi...
