Further to my original inquiry I have found the fork lift truck I was trying to identify is a Conveyancer E2-20. Are there any collections of old workshop manuals around? e-bay has drawn a blank and nothing can be found on the Web, although I am not particularly skilled in searching. Any way thanks ...

Jeremy, the large plate just has the logo for Conveyancer and a list of hydraulic oils and lubricants and I can't recall what the smaller one said, but it was just some general warning and it didn't carry anything to help with identification. There are no other labels anywhere. As to your suggestion...

Hi again, I have some photo's to upload but I don't know how to attach them as thumbnails. I have tried using the attachment facility at the bottom of the posting screen but viewing the results in preview they seem to come out too large with a lot of white space. What am I doing wrong? H, I'm trying to identify a very old fork lift, its probably 1950s 3 wheel 36Volt electrics, Hydraulic fork. It is thought it was made by a company called Convayencer who who were taken over by Coventry Climax. If required I can get Photo's, but is this the right site to come to for this sort of req...
