The Case LA Roadless lifeboat tractors had very long lives in service some till the 70's.
Always very well looked after of course and not worked hard .

It's rope excavator nirvana Jeremy :thumbup: in a stunning location, well worth combining with a break in the Lakes. Plus loads of other stuff and on non working days you're just allowed to roam freely which is a rarity these days. Got to wonder how much will ever get restored though as there is so ...

I am very envious , would love to own an old backhoe loader but having no space or mechanical ability it will remain a dream !

Yes nice pic .Hydrocon seemed to have put their later cranes on off the shelf Ergo chassis cabs but there is very little info on them.
Anyone for writing a Hydrocon history :)
And Whitlock , got the latest book but its not that detailed on the excavators. :(
