It's rope excavator nirvana Jeremy :thumbup: in a stunning location, well worth combining with a break in the Lakes. I am very envious , would love to own an old backhoe loader but having no space or mechanical ability it will remain a dream !

Yes nice pic .Hydrocon seemed to have put their later cranes on off the shelf Ergo chassis cabs but there is very little info on them.
Anyone for writing a Hydrocon history :)
And Whitlock , got the latest book but its not that detailed on the excavators. :(

Great pics Ian :thumbup: When I started work in 77 RMC had an absolute stranglehold on ready mix supply on Teesside. There was lots of massive civil engineering going on building Petrochem and steel plants and their orange mixers were everywhere. RMC had Ford D 's in the main but still quite a few A...

Thanks Paul, As I said in my last post I hope to restore this old MHM forklift. The first photo shows the forklift with the mast removed as it has been damaged and needs repairing. The rollers, bearings etc I don,t have a problem sourcing, what I am finding hard to source is the "C" shape...
