Re: Dodgy web sites with plant for sale.

Genuine Ads lifted from others . The difficult ones to sp...

Re: British Dumper

Very interesting stuff on the Road machine Drayton dumpers , never knew they made 4x4's. At one time they were fitting a German engine from Stihl. a name familar to all British construction people as 'Stihl Saw' the universal hand held stone cutting saw. Re: Stothert and Pitt Barford Dumpers

Stothert and Pitt Barford Dumpers

I had forgot that Stothert and Pitt had bought Barford and did not know that they marketed the range as' Stothert and Pitt Barford including the little Bantam. In fact we had someone on here with a 'Barford Bantam' who wanted it identifying and thought it was a Stothert and Pitt and I told him SP on...

Re: Unknown Dumper seen on ebay

The mighty Benford TS60 - With a two range gearbox I wonder if it's based on reversed Leyland tractor components, a real hark to the past . Incidentally the name on the dumper in original pic ROOFF are a firm of East London builders who still trade see web. I thought the red tick on the grille may b...

Re: Unknown Dumper seen on ebay

A while back bought a 1979 Benford 'Construction Equipment Catalogue' off Fleabay, unusually this is in the form of a rather nice large hardback book . Glanced at it tonight when tidying bookshelves and lo and behold on page 7 is this very machine . It is a Benford TS60 looking antiquated even back ...
