Thanks for speedy reply. Just gone to buy one online but it comes with what I would call Project 8 (and newer) keys. Is that correct for a grey cab? Would be great if it fits

Re: Jcb 3cx grey cab door key
Yes, key fits into the slot as it should. It feels like it should be the correct key, but the barrel is solid. I have left it steeping in freeing oil last couple of days but has made no difference. I suppose a new barrel won’t be a fortune. That might be the easy way forward,

Jcb 3cx grey cab door key
Afternoon chaps,
Can anyone help identify which door key I need for my 1991 3cx grey cab please? I have just bought a 1001 key thinking that would be it.... but it isn’t ! It also isn’t the big plastic topped key as in project 8. All help appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

3cx grey cab brake cylinder repair kit
Good afternoon, could anyone help with part numbers for the two brake master cylinder repair kits (seals etc) for my 1991 3cx grey cab. I have tried in vain on the web to find them but no luck. Mine is the type that has LHM fluid rather than brake fluid. Machine serial number 366167.
Many thanks,
Tony

Re: JCB 3CX grey cab water pump help please
Thanks for all the replies chaps. I know the ‘best’ solution would be to replace it, but I have a tipper booked for Saturday for a job and I just don’t have the time to remove it, send it back, wait for the replacement to arrive, then re fit..... probably in the pouring rain ! I will try removing th...

JCB 3CX grey cab water pump help please
Good morning guys. I wonder if someone could help with a water pump problem on my 3CX Sitemaster. 1991 Model with a Perkins 4.236 I fitted a new pattern water pump yesterday only to find one of the bolts on the front cover has a steady drip of water coming from it. I have to say, the supplier has im...

Re: JCB 3CX Tip Angle
They tip quite a way....... but I know what you mean about the brown trousers. Mine feels like it is about to tip over just driving over a house brick! All good tyres and inflated correctly. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/60535_W7OYQ5NVUES21595711225.jpg Not my picture btw, jus...
