Re: New Nimbus owner
Hi rich sounds like girling rods go on to the winget dumpers site, go to view manuals and look at the 2s model. the difference with your brakes will be the link from pedal to compensator unit (yours is cable), will give a couple of diagrams and setup. this site will give you manuals for ph1 as well....

Re: Benford dumper with Lister ST2 compression pressures
Hi I have a problem with the speeder spring on mine, so I add a thin piece of steel (approx. 1.5mm) in between the throttle stop. this makes sure the fuel pump stays open and does not shut down when cranking. My st1 is not fitted with a cold start (no plunger fitted) the book says turn engine over 2...

Hi
I had similar problem with st 1, when you are cranking can you hear the injector squeak?, mine had the govener set incorectley hence when you
crank it shut the excess fuel off. adjusted it correctly and now starts spot on. hope this helps.

Re: Liner dumper age
Thanks for reply, the dumper I have was first registered in 1978. but came with a black and silver number plate, I am trying to find out when it was made to see if the plate type is incorrect or was it made before 73.
Re: insurance
I ended up using rowett insurance, £100.10 third party fire and theft.
