Re: How iffy is this sale on Ebay ?

Its only harmless if purchased by someone wanting to use his digger on the road.
not if someone nicks a jcb changes the plates and sells to some unsuspecting customer .
any one selling ids should be jailed as they are as bad as the scum that nicks the machines :(

I can also remember key starting ph2's as well. I find your comment insulting. if I was wrong then correct me by all means. but I am ...

Re: ph2 engine brake

:? As far as I can remember all ph2s started on the crank. I would have thought a cam start would be harder as 1 turn would need to turn the crank twice.

Re: water in oil and oil in water?

I was going to do the advised pressure test but though its easy enough to remove the liners so just go for it. i pulled them out today, seals were fine but the liners have holes in them. so its £415 for a rebuild kit. I cant work out how the rad and water jacket has filled with oil though. :...

water in oil and oil in water?

hello chaps. I recently purchased an old 3c 11 with the Leyland 4. 98nt engine. it was just above the scrap value and just intended to do a bit of landscaping . its working fine (after a bit of work) but the engine is filling with water and the rad is filling with oil. is this just a simple head gas...
