11400 hrs on first set of pumps.....that is bloody good going for a jcb!! Think the life expectancy on them is 7-9000 hrs! From what I used to be told by customers, the 4 cyclinder engine machines were as good as the old 6, but used a little less fuel......never as much as jcb used to say, but still...

Its going to make it awkward to sign write the back of the machine now! Certain colours will not be able to be used....such as blue or red! i quite like the look of that counterweight too! Think it looks smart! lol. Must say its taken a while to get used to the new logo, and I still think they made a mistake changing it, but its slowly growing on me! Gessing they are just trying to modernise the brand.

ian check the fuses havnt started to corrode, remember having issues on some as condenstation builds up on the terminals. also, the reciver plays up quite often (the black bit around the ignition barrel). the driver should have been given a kicking! a simple mistake that cost a hell of a lot to fix, and unfortunatly that machine will never run right again. It broke down several times after because pins kept comming loose in the plug! has it been ok since???

Very sad indeed. I actually had the chance to meet the red arrows flying team just 2 weeks ago, as have a friend who's grandad was once part of the red arrows display team.
