Something to maybe look into
If the ram has creeped over night with no load it means you either have a internal or external leak that might attention

anybody know what brand of machine the army dozer is in the top picture
Fuel tank etc looks a bit different to anything I have noticed on a Cat

I would think it should be pretty easy to get re wound

Other than that just unbolt it and head off to the local tractor wreckers with the starter motor in hand and compare what's lying about
