Had the D8R back in the yard in September for a local plant show. Got chance to repair some broken bolts and a crack in the mole board. Still got the tractor and box out stripping topsoil. Such is the demand,they are even taking wet soil . Got the other old D8 up on the same job aswell for the shorter stripping during the dreadful weather we've had all September and October so far. Been unusually busy this season with the old D8's a...

Yes Jeremy,once sod is off,I strip soil and take it the gates. This field will yield around 10000 ton and it's costing them around 0.58p per cube to get it there. That's 7 quid a load in their eyes. They've been spending 18 quid a load stripping it and making a mess since Christmas with hard-core ro...

Not happy with this setup at all.
I made him put the rest of his chaines on,before it left the yard.
It's the hirers lowloader,but when I'm finished I will pay myself to hire in my usual lowloader company
