Silly thing is if they had put the machine on the other way round it wouldn't be nearly so scary, probably just the front bucket overhanging slightly?

There were two steep bits to negotiate on the route, one on the A5119 near the "Coach and Horses" at Flint Mountain (Up) before reaching the A55, the other was Rhuallt Hill on the A55 - a long downhill. The original intention was that the third tractor would be coupled up once the central ...

A few pictures of the last of three movements from Mostyn Dock to St Asaph in North Wales. The pictures start at Northop, just prior to the load joining the A55. The tractors were turned round here, reversed down the eastbound onslip (to avoid travelling over the interchange bridge) and then crossed...

Any chance someone could post some pictures of JCBs fitted with the jaw? As far as I remember I only ever saw a machine fitted with one once, years ago.

I can't see it listed as an option on the JCB website, perhaps that's why they don't sell many?
