yes they did use the levers at the start but then they changed to the pedals on the floor with, 1 for forward and 1 for reverse and 1 was a slew brake and it also had an independent lever to slew the tracks, which made it handy to put onto a low loader.

i have drove the h3 h7 h12 and the 230 just before it changed to volvo.they were a powerful machine and like a man told me they were the rolls royce of track machines especially the 230.I was on a digging job beside a 210 komatsu and it would'nt have anywhere near the power the 230 had,and that was ...

the best has to be jcb no doubt about as sales and second hand value has proved.And they are still the market leader in driver comfort and still the most well balanced when it comes to the controls
