Re: Scrape dozers

Traction is our myain problem the D5B and D4H both doze it well. THe clay and sand hold moisture and the the little 2 wheel drive scrapers just spin down. In the summer we can make a one pass across the cut. Then let it dry over night and then come back the next day and cut. Our scrapers arent ment ...

With an excaator Id have to hire 2 more workers and Id rather have one machine. We re about 250 to 300 yards at the m...

Re: What are your favorite tractors ?

I love the old offset Farmall tractors like the A Super A Cub 100 and 140. I also like alot of the NewGen Deere like the 4020s. I also and quite fone of the 4000 Ford at work its a mid seventies model. But a 135 Massey diesel was a real sweet tractor here.

Re: Abandoned Onions Scraper

How many yards was that scraper capable of? THats a neat find, too many here are lost to scrappers. I tried to buy a small scraper here a few months ago, It was an old surplus Laplant Choate. The owner gave it to his son for scrap.
