Cheers guys, the MAN was very basic in the cab but it had so much grunt is was unrivalled at the time. It also has an Eton splitter crash box which once you'd mastered without the grating was awesome. As a tipper it was heavy especially on the arse but would pull out of the tip like nothing else. H...

I never rated the 3025, never had enough umph to me. I did like the Iveco 300 hp 8 wheeler with the V8 deutz later uprated to the 340. That was a good tipper but give me a MAN 331, now that was the bollocks! They were before my tipper driving days Clive,but the MAN 331 seems to be held in high rega...

I see a couple of the old 3025 Mercs in amongst the line up Steve-looked good with the twin stacks I bet.Our lot had some as well-they pulled well but didn't stop as good narrow linings apparently

Is that a 10? It can't be legal on that outfit! :insomnia: I wonder if the photo was taken in this country cos although the vehicles use the same side of the road as us you cannot see the registration numbers of the cars to confirm this? I wondered if it was somewhere like Malta? Also what year did...

Thanks as ever, the S90 looked like a halfway house between the 80 and later but which is this one? That is an S95 cab Pete-Fodens had trouble getting supplies of these from Motor Panels apparently so Paccar pulled the plug on this one in favour of the S10. Come on then Tim how do you tell the diff...
