Hi, Yes I had a new "Genuine Briggs and Stratton" ignition coil a few weeks ago which was faulty. It is annoying because you immediately doubt yourself and double check every thing, then put a meter on to test the coil which all takes time. Then there was the wait for the replacement to co...

Hi Paul,
That should be fine.
The pressure is obviously too low, could be the pump but sounds like a releif valve problem to me.

Re: Comparing Holman 4t dumper

Hi, I don't know the Holman dumpers but other makes I've worked on the tip relief valves are set to about 1,750 psi. and the steering set at between 1,000 psi. and 1,750 psi. ( 600psi. sounds very low to me). Do you have to maintain the pressure on the steering wheel to get it to tip :?: :?:...

Fred the nose of the unusual Scammell is the same as the tank transporter that if I correctly recall was one of the last trucks to be made that carried the Scammell name; must say that is one very ugly truck, Vic Berry who was operating the one in the photograph was a famous railway locomotive scra...

Yes Rob you are correct and that was the beast I was thinking about similar looking but not exactly the same. Jeremy Hi Jeremy, If you look closely it is an S26 cab with the bonnet added on. There is also info in the pic. itself. There is a King trailer badge on the bonnet which possibly ...

Re: Dipper Ram seal - 89 3cx

Hi,
You will find the dowel under the seal nearest the rod end.
There should be a threaded hole in the dowel so you can use a bolt to extract it.

Re: JCB 3C11 Back actor play

If I remember rightly both bottom plugs to drain and the large plug n top with the drain, (breather), is the filler. There should be a dipstick attatched to the underside of that plug.
As you probably know the oil is EP90.
