Filled the gearbox with clean oil today (recieved ribbing that I had doubled its vallue) ran the engine with bleed screw open and drive was restored then the geezer erupted from the bleed screw, didnt dampen my mood :D Next step is sort electrics, start solenoid is stuffed needs replacing (and spare...

In case there are any other Robex owners with a similar problem, I was able to bypass the track speed sensor but have been unable to solve the coarse/fine mode, this i have been led to believe can only be solved by rebuilding the circuit board in the touch sensitive control pad.

I have a 90s model with a touch style dash pad. The throttle has been switched to a cable from the dash pad, which is sound. recently bought a 100b with amongst its troubles has just the one brake, have stripped out the brakes which are each 3 shoes with 2 or 3 pads riveted to them.
