Re: Rail mounted dumper - can anyone identify?
Hi Ken, Not really sure, with those photo but with zooming in the front beams don't look right, but could be wrong and it looks like it go a 2 pot and hydraulic on it? But it looks like a usefully bit of kit, I did convert one worked well but the gearbox that I got did not match the diff it was slow...

Re: Newage 40M gearbox change drive direction
Hi,
I didn't really get the diff rotating first but think I do now. If Ive got this right if all hole and spaces work, pull the diff out rota it 180 de put back in guess that the half shalf will need pulling out to allow this.
Then put back in and all should work the other way.

Re: Newage 40M gearbox change drive direction
Hello, Thank you for replies, sorry not relied been away. The only thing that was going to change was the drop box till it was pointed out that the new one had an extra gear so instead of 4 it has 5 which means that what goes in at the top which was clock wise would be a anti with the extra gear. Ye...

Newage 40M gearbox change drive direction
Hi, Is it possible to change the drive direction on a Newage 40M gear box? The reason for this is I have managed to get a replacement dropbox for my dumper but it turns in the opposite direction to the other one at the bottom out put so I will end up with 3 rev and 1 forward gears? Or would I need a...

Re: Barford Bison Breaking
Hi, Have not started to break it yet, sort of testing the waters, have take the gearbox off and separated the dropbox from it, to see what was going. It's near Oswestry SY10 area. The gear box has the normal wear and tear in it and looks like some one in the past either hit a big rock at the bottom ...
