Re: JCB 3MkII Wiring For Lights
Thank you Kári for your response. I had been looking at Land Rover lights on Agriline, they were 73mm, somehow I missed the 70mm ones

Re: JCB 3MkII Wiring For Lights
Thanks for the reply. There was no relfector in any of the lights when I took them off. Would the lights work without it? Could I make my own out of some aluminium foil or tape?

JCB 3MkII Wiring For Lights
Hi all. Currently doing a bit of re-wiring on my 3 MkII. There's two wires coming from the brake lights, one coming from the sidelights. But the wiring diagram shows three for the brakes and two for the sidelights. I think it's the ground wire missing in both cases but there's nowhere to put one. Is...

Anyone Ever Added A 3rd Service To Old JCB?
I have a JCB 3MkII https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPbg9-xn64I
I'd like to add a 3rd service to use things like a grab etc. Was wondering how I'd go about plumbing it into the hydraulics
If anyone has any pointers I'd be very grateful

Window Rubber Seal
I need to put a new windscreen into my Dads JCB 3MkII. The current one is perspex and I think I'll do the same again. I'm trying to find the right type of rubber seal to go in. It's one of those where you fit it all in place and then thread a rubber bead into the seal, all the way around. Did a quic...

Looking For A New Steering Wheel JCB 3MkII
Hi everyone, looking to get a new wheel for the fathers machine. Had a quick google and can't find an exact replacement, does anyone still make this style? I'd heard Charnleys was reproducing them but they appear different too. The machine we have is based on a Nuffield 4/65. Thanks http://i45.tinyp...

What Sort Of Hydraulic Oil?
Doing a few small jobs on the old 3MkII. She probably needs a fair bit of oil too. JCB have a place not too far away and we've gotten the branded oil up to now. If I remember rightly it's been about €50 for a 20l drum. Is that expensive? It is when you've a lot to put in  What grade or brand of...

Re: JCB 3C11 Back actor play
My father has a 3MkII with a sloppy slew. It's a small bit different to the other pics so I said I'd just check with the experts :D In the first pic it has a large plug with a breather coming put of it - I'm guessing this is where you fill it up. In the second there are two plugs. The big one at the...

Rubber Seal Between Cab And Chassis
I'm looking for a replacement for the seal that goes between the cab and chassis on an old JCB (3MkII). The one on ours has deteriorated and now acts like a sponge, holding in water and slowly rotting the bottom of the cab (is this why they all rotted?). Is there a similar type seal/rubber/product t...
