Re: Cat Chopper made by Orange County Choppers
I owned a chopper once and the handling was scary. Harley makes a decent motorcycle, but the only bike that really impresses me is the BSA Gold Star. There is something about a thumper that turns me on.

Hello Martyn:
Thats a nice collection there. How do you like the details on the First Gear models? It seems that they really give good value for the price.

Hello Martyn:
Very nice restoration. I like the brass name plate. Out of curiousity, what does this machine weigh?

Re: Vandalism
Hello Deas: I agree with you one hundred percent. I dont understand the silliness and stupidity of the culture of our respective countries that lets parents first and communities second shirk the responsibility toward civilizing our youngsters and teaching them that actions have consequences. I shud...

Re: Vandalism
Hi Robban, Lars and Nick:
It turns my stomach to see vandalism like this. At least its just paint this time. Ive seen some very expensive equipment reduced to junk through the actions of vandals.
I would love to catch some of these %#*&^@# in the act.

Re: CAT PULLS A MARTIAN !!!!!
Hello Martyn: Nice shots of the 951. I have fond memories of the 951 my father puchased for a sewer project back in the early 70s. It had a side dump bucket on it for back filling in tight areas. I hope your foot is healing nicely. I had an accident a few years ago which prevented me from working fo...

Re: Track type tractors
Hello Stuart: Are the D9G models made by EMD? They seem very well detailed. I have the Norscot D11 carrydozer and will probably get their D10T as well. The Conrad models are nice but lack the details the others have. Im really looking forward to the die-cast machines that Classic Construction Models...

Re: I need your feedback!
Hi Shovelman: I feel that antique equipment would be that which is over 25 years old. The equipment I am most familiar with is from the glory days of interstate highway construction. There are many makers who are no longer with us, Allis Chalmers, Euclid, Wabco, Cletrac, Galion, and Barber Green, an...
