Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Thanks so much Don. Has been quite challenging trying to find out what it is. Thanks to this site had come to the conclusion it must be a 56, so hadn't made any further enquiries. Now nice to have a definite answer. Have previously been given your name as the person to contact when the time comes fo...

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi John. Sounds like you have a big job ahead of you. Hope I don't have to go down that track. Previously had a Ford F700 tipper with water in the oil - never did find out what the problem was.

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi John. Just thought I'd let you know - Tried the Iron Tight as you suggested, but unfortunately did not fix problem..... Haven't tried the Liquid Intelligence yet. Was hoping to hear from someone who has used it to see if its as good as it sounds. May just have to bite the bullet and find out for ...

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Thanks for that John. Haven't heard of it, but will give it a try. It's about half the cost of the Liquid Intelligence, and if you found it worked, that's better than just trusting the "Marketing spiel" of the Liquid Intelligence.

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi John. Thanks for interest. Re water in sump. Since first found, removed head and had it checked -it is fine. Have also put 3 lots of additive in radiator. Now very much less water in sump, but still a little. Drained water, measured water in radiator, and when sitting, radiator water level goes d...

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi Fred - And everyone else. Have little bit of water going into sump - suspect bottom inner O'rings are leaking, probably gone hard. Before replacing, am thinking of trying the Liquid Intelligence 230. Literature says - "Will stop oil leaks by swelling and softening dried and hardened seals an...

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi Fred. Thanks for the latest info. - you're a legend! Well, it's taken some time, but oh so worth it. Will now feel reasonably confident we have a TM56, with a 70hp 4.236 (or 4.270D?) engine. --- But of course we stand to be corrected if further info becomes available. ! Would still love to hear a...

Re: Track Marshall Dozer
Hi Fred. Thanks for the info about the track tensioning. So much easier when you get info from the "people who know". I am so very lucky to have found this site. Can't believe how incredibly helpful everyone is.
