Re: What was your first track loader to operate

Easy question for me - the MF-300 I bought a few weeks ago! Can't offer any comments on using it 'in anger' yet - as it's still receiving a bit of TLC and maintenance that's been lacking for a decade or three! So far its sum total of work here has been to tip the ripper frame and ram out of the 4-in...

Re: Newbie (dumb) questions

Thanks for your advice Martyn. I'll have a look at your film clip later - our horrendously expensive mobile broadband 1GB limit is almost up for this month, so I might have to wait a week or so. Newbie (dumb) questions

Hi all, The MF300 now has clean engine oil and I've drained the sludge out of the final drives and flushed them ready for some clean 80W90. The hydraulic, power-shift and central reduction/steering clutch oils all look remarkably pristine, so given the volumes involved, I'm going to spend a few $ ha...

Newbie with MF-300

Hello all, I've just joined CMN, having recently acquired a Massey Ferguson MF-300 crawler loader. It's a bit of a sad looking machine which hasn't had much TLC for decades. Don't think it's seen a grease gun for a very long time. But everything important seems to work, no serious oil leaks that I c...
