These were made to the original Chaseside spec probably made from all spares from Blackburn along with about 30 machines included in the buy out by JCB.in 1968. :(
by the way pete that film of the old rope shovel is great,it also shows the original colour of the machines from that era .

Could be a sl/2000 with ford/clark or Leyland 400/ Allison or clark.some had GM or VOLVO variation if my memory serves me right.

These would be in the 2wd sl700/800 with brockhouse transmissions that always leaked even from new due to bad storage and the torque converter resting heavily on the front oil seal causing damage to the seal.
