Great topic. I was not on this Job jack, it did a lot with the LTM1800 in the park over the years but this was one of the ones I did not do. Tim, you anything to do with Birmingham new street stn, I know Danny Tyson was up there the weekend and I work Sarens now, will be on a crane there over Christ...

Was working with Michael Davidson (Driver of TC) last Monday, He's got 2 weeks in Port Talbot, then he's not sure what the plans are for the crane. I enjoy working with heavies, even if its loading trailers.....can be a real giggle. cranes the size of the Demag TC2800 use some heafty and very heavy ...

Last day on the job tomorrow and I must say I've enjoyed every minute of it. Been a long while since i've had a job as interesting as this and the more I think I realise this was probably the largest single load i've been involved in. here are some pictures of today launch as promised, when I got into work the nightshift has already moved the massive bridge half way across the high street so the pictures start from there. When I finished work 12 hours later they still had not begun to jack the system down due to some positioning ...

come on Gaz wake up, we are all waiting to see the move last night, you cant leave us waiting like this, Sorry mate, I'm at work now and it's only just got into place, just got to lower it 4 meters into it's final position.
