Nice one Fred I never realised that Winget were associated with truck mounted Poclain excavators perhaps the unpopularity of the truck mounted machines lead Winget to concentrate more on dumpers?

Poclain had big range of machines and some seemed huge by the standards then. What an odd machine in Steve's last photo. Great black and white photos Roger. I assume the double split cabs were for a driver's mate? Don't remember seeing that type of layout. The town centre demo is staggering. I know it was ''then'' but there does not appear to be any form of segregation of public from the job! Yes Pete that crossed my mind too unfortunately today things have gone bonkers with OTT health and safety concerns; just jobs for the boys and of course big bus...
