Re: Classic pictures Updated 24/03/2024

Has the boom an extra pivot or is it a slide out job? How do you know that is a Dorman? Not doubting our Hymac expert, just asking. The 5th Pic very interesting, a Hymac 580BT with an air-cooled Dorman engine and a two piece boom.

Unusual bucket arrangement on the tracked loader, second last pic.
Norm.

Looking at the bucket teeth, it must load over?

It does look like it loads over, bet the operator had a sore neck after a shift on that.

Re: Bonser LS55 spares

Welcome Guy  I cannot say if the parts are available or not, a Google search of the manufacturer Bonser is a good start, if they are not available then the next best bet is an engineering company who could machine an alternative way to take the drive for you, let us know how you get on? :thumb...

Re: What roller

Hi Andy and welcome  Is there any identification plate on the machine, any serial number? The drive belts should be no issue, a decent drives specialist would be able to help you there, other members on here may be able to give you some help identifying it.

Re: Poclain 75 CKB

Last weekend I finally made my first trip up to my machines since before Christmas :o my last chance to get up there before had been scuppered by an outbreak of Covid in my office at work which got around 8 out of 10 of us. The weather this year has been incredibly wet so I've saved my precious days...

Nice one IBH  I think the JCB 5C belongs to a lad named Chris Ball, this machine can be seen operating at the Welland Steam Rally.
