used to be big into slalom and downhill. then had bills to pay and couldnt afford to smash myself up. that looked pretty intense. like it.

can anyone help with suppliers or reputable machinists for parts. i'm mid way through repairing, with mind for restoring an old MB Trac, originally locked in neutral i have got low forward and reverse to work, but the high range selector has worn out. i've not yet got the box out, but hope to source...

would it not have been wise to walk the machine out of the gloop using bucket and 1 track, then refit it on hard(er) standing?

hi john, could just be a loose fitting or dowty seal, cracked fitting or, worst case, damaged orbital valve. if you remove the steering column and try to spot the leak you'll know what to replace first. ?

Angus; the breathers are on the tank, they look like a small one inch diameter top hat and appear to serve no purpose. unscrew them and clean them out. Re the oil filling, try what robin said. And you'd be surprised at the price of seals, as robin says, the seal kit works out to be around thirty qui...

slightly off topic but i've just spent 6months fighting a speeding offence in court. been prooven guilty. court costs of £680 ad 6 points, what gets me, is i took the time out to find out who it was, found out, and still i get prosecuted. justice system? more like corrupt business regeime
